The Practising ChainGE website is a space created by ChainGE Lab to bring together law, research, art, organising, and storytelling. The platform is designed to create a shared space for organisers, legal practitioners, policymakers, scholars, artists, and workers to share work and insights on struggles, strategies, legal innovations, and experiments in building worker power across global value chains. The site aims to bridge research and practice, document experiences that are often left out of academic and policy debates, and create new opportunities for dialogue across regions, disciplines, and movements.
The call for contributions remains open on a rolling basis, and we continue to welcome proposals.
The event will feature a panel discussion, "Understanding Supply Chains through Creative Practice," moderated by Nandita Shivakumar and featuring Ema Moolchand, Rahee Punyashloka, and Palani Kumar, exploring what becomes possible when supply chains are studied not only through law, reports, and corporate disclosures, but also through photography, poetry, sound, memory, and artistic practice.
